I first became interested in bodywork while participating in High School sports and noticed after some manual therapy with the athletic trainers, that I was able to perform better both on the field and in the weight room. Throughout my career in healthcare, I continued to develop an interest in the relationship between manual therapy and increased strength, size, performance, range of motion, and a decrease in discomfort. I completed my Bachelor of Emergency Medical Services at USA and Massage Therapy school in Pensacola, Florida. While serving in the U.S. Navy, I worked as an apprentice with a Massage therapist in Naples, IT. I have advanced certifications in Functional Movement and Medical Massage, and attend regular professional development training, so that I can provide excellent care for my clients.
